International workshop on feed safety, marketing and use of feed is organised in co-operation with BAAP, BFMA and FEFAC in Sofia on 15th and 16th of September 2010. The aim of this workshop is to provide a detailed look at the new EU legislation on the marketing & use of feed Regulation (EC) N° 767/2009 which will be implemented as from 1st September 2010. Operators and authorities in two new member states and candidate and potential candidate countries will obtain a clear understanding of the new obligations as part of the "acquis communautaire" in particular with regard to new co-regulation initiatives (code of good labelling practice for compound feed). At the same time the workshop will provide guidance on existing problems with the implementation of the feed hygiene Regulation (EC) N° 183/2005 in particular in the area of HACCP implementation.
